ABSN Prerequisites and General Education Requirements
If you have a non-nursing college education, you can begin the ABSN program admissions process. To be eligible to apply, however, you must satisfy the ABSN prerequisites and general education requirements.
ABSN Prerequisite Courses
You need a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 in the below prerequisites to be eligible for our ABSN program. If you’ve already taken some of these courses, you must have done so within the past seven years for your credits to be eligible for transfer.
ABSN prerequisite courses lay the foundation for your success in nursing school, while also being key to nursing career preparedness. You can complete the prerequisites online through Grand Canyon University. The cost is $425 per credit hour plus lab fees.
