College of Nursing and Health Care Professions
For nearly 35 years, the College of Nursing and Health Care Professions at Grand Canyon University has prepared students to pave the way in all areas of health care.
As one of the top nursing schools in Arizona, we offer a range of accredited programs to meet the career goals of students at all levels of learning, from pre-licensure to advanced practice.
We’ve also evolved our nursing programs over the years to meet the ever-changing demands of health care—with our ABSN program being a great example.
Launched in 2020, our 16-month* ABSN program helps offset the mounting nursing shortage in Arizona, Nevada and Utah.
The program not only supplies health care employers with a steady stream of prepared nursing graduates, but also gives qualified individuals increased access to a quality nursing education.
Above all, our nursing school graduates are among the most sought-after nurses in Arizona. Health care employers throughout the state appreciate the emphasis we put on ethical decision-making, professionalism and servant leadership.
